Letter to the World

Great stuff Tom. Especially the last stanza. I often wonder when people stop realizing the things they do are wrong. The obvious ones I mean.

Rain in Dublin

2018-04-22
This is so wonderful Marie. It reminds me of when I was in south east asia where it was so hot, but when it rained the kids would dance in it and play happily. Thanks for making that memory return :)

Earnestly Yours

2018-04-22
So much longing in this. Nicely done.

Half-baked Haikus

2018-04-22
They are all good Bibek. I really liked 3 and 6. I am not into Haiku. I always felt that the form was so short that it is easy to get things to have various meanings that look clever.

Marriage or not

2018-04-22
Interesting thoughts. Yes online relationships can be strong.

D N A! - GOVERMENTS HAVE A PLAN! (An Idears For A Work In Progres)

2018-04-22
Really?

WINTER WERE EXSTENDID!

2018-04-22
Confusing for the plants. Remember spring is the season of love. Are you feeling deprived? :)

THOSE FOOLS!

2018-04-22
We are all fools Ken. Some are just bright enough to know it.

All True

2018-04-22
I love this one. It is a surrealist dinner with all the trimmings.

bar

2018-04-22
And perhaps laced with unjust cynicism :)

bar

2018-04-22
Clever.

I Wait Impatiently

2018-04-22
the plants are confused by the strange weather. I like the reference to the " redneck preacher's wife" :) Spring, confused plants and lonely men make a good subject.

There's Something to be Said in Favor of Faith

2018-04-20
I agree with pony It's either there or it's not. This is an interest story though. The scene and afflictions enhances it.

Mutually Assured Destruction

2018-04-19
You control the metaphor so well. After going through so much I hope there is solace to be found.

Je pense toi (with translation)

2018-04-19
Simply beautiful.

Ramblings 429

2018-04-19
Disappointments are hard when they involve people we care about. Hugs.

Weeping and Laughing

2018-04-12
Not always Ken as you say it depends on the situation. If you laugh in the throes of despair, I think they call that madness.

Why I Ride My Motorcycle at 120 on City Streets

2018-04-12
So true. I love this one.

Random Spring Thoughts

2018-04-12
A nice springy piece indeed. I have been told that even though it is autumn here, because the weather is so damn hot the plants and flowers are not dying off. Apparently they are confused. I know I am.

IS THERE WAR COMING? (Additans)

2018-04-12
I hope not Ken. They are have been used in the past as political distractions but everyone if fed up the violence.

Poems Are Like Memories

2018-04-12
A wonderful metaphor and I like the style.

Outside My Window

2018-04-12
I like it. The last part is clever.

Being Human

2018-04-12
A wonderful journey through science and feeling. Being human means so many things, but the ability to understand were we stand in the universe is empowering and overbearing at times.
I like the repetition of the first line, it gives it a fell of regality.

Waiting on the Train

2018-04-10
I love travelling by train. Especially in rural areas. I love the consistent sound the train makes on the track and you are right it is like a heartbeat. You do a lot of thinking on trains, especially about your past. I used to say "the click clack always takes me back". I enjoyed this very much although there is a hint of sadness in it.

Still Looking

2018-04-09
Very interesting. reminds me of Stevie Smith :)

LIFE CAN BE SO DIFFICLT! (Basede On A Conversation I Had While Waiting For The Loop)

2018-04-05
You and your poetry do matter Ken. You have a voice and even better a pen.

Aging

2018-04-05
That's exactly what it is like. If we were cars they could put our brain up on a hoist and put another body underneath :)

A Thin Place

2018-04-02
Great rhymes and a great sentiment. It portrays a peaceful experience. One the world really needs right now.

I Am

2018-04-02
I suffer from OCD so I get this. It is like a tripped switch.

Days

2018-04-02
A wonderful thought. I wish I could control such thoughts.

Nowhere

2018-04-02
What a great thought. It is like an extra verse for Imagine :)

love and racism

2018-04-02
I think I know what you mean. Perhaps racism is like that. Love can cover logic and racism certainly does. Good question.

Primavera

2018-04-02
A wonderful time beautifully described.

THOSE WHO DO NOT THINK OUT LOUD! (Addishans) (CHANGES)

2018-04-02
There is a time to speak and a time to be silent. The problem is that people never work out the right balance :)

ALL FOOLS DAY!

2018-04-02
We are all fools Ken :)

A Gift-wrapped Day

2018-04-02
Wonderful Jim. I am old enough to remember that movie :) Pat ole Sam for me. He knows when a scene needs to be drank in.

Palestine

2018-04-02
Like most conflicts, when you sit down and think about them they seem absurd. Well written and does what all good poetry should do. Removing scales from eyes.

You Say Love

2018-04-02
This is good Bibek. Mysterious and deep.

Bits of Life

2018-03-24
Beautiful choice of words. You turn them into magic and wisdom.

At Some Point, I Suppose That We'll Get Out

2018-03-15
It's about who you are with not where you are :)

Love it or leave it

2018-03-15
Sounds like you love it even with the drawbacks. There are always trade-offs I suppose.

Memory

2018-03-15
This allows you to feel the rapture and terror of the ocean. nice :)

On The Other Side

2018-03-15
Excuse my ignorance but I had to look up this poet. I did and read Under Pressure and it was great. In a way you have captured his style here. Thank you.

We Never Quite Know

2018-03-15
No we don't. Even though this is a beautifully written piece about the weather and nature I suspect that you rightly suggest that this lack of knowing goes a bit deeper.

Screaming Under Water

2018-03-15
Has it been 2 years? You have given more details in this one and shown just how frightening it was. Big hugs.

Muse

2018-03-08
So true but I never understood why. Maybe it puts you into a "miserable got to let everyone know" gear.

Ping Pong

2018-03-06
You managed to make Ping Pong poetic in motion. Well done.

A Minor Poet

2018-03-06
Wonderful :)

I think of you

2018-03-06
So beautiful. People never really leave us. Like the epitaph on a grave that said "I am just dead, not gone".

You

2018-03-06
Nice. I wonder if angels get mondayphobia?
