Laughing Out Loud

2017-12-08
What a wonderful story. The best stories and characters of course are true ones. Sometimes the older we get the more we remember.

WE THAT WRITE!

2017-12-08
I don't really believe that ken. It is a nice thought but there must be so many great writers unknown.

Back in the Day

2017-12-08
So true. Deep and simple.

evening

2017-12-08
I enjoyed this very much. It flows so well.

Typing

2017-12-08
Well done Bibek :)

Computer

2017-12-08
That's it!

The Stairs

2017-12-08
I feel that way too. I liked this.

The Vagabond- I sit here writing poems

2017-12-08
Great stuff man.

In the Garden

2017-12-08
Yes it is sad. The unions are impotent because of job threats, old people send young people to war. There is much truth in this.

On Miller's Pond

2017-12-07
Wonderful to read. A touch of Mark Twain there :)

THE LOOPY LOOP BUS! (A return to a snach story-verce)

2017-12-01
That's a brilliant one Ken. Top marks mate :)

My Mother and Me

2017-11-25
It must have been hard to write this. I can only write of growing up in flashes and snippets. Maybe I have blocked out a lot. My mother was similar, distant but close, overcome with worries. This is a wonderful piece my dear friend.

It's Simple, Really

2017-11-25
Wonderful language. Must be how you get the girls :)

Thick Downdrop

2017-11-25
Must be so beautiful. I have never felt snow.

DAYS OF MEMORY'S!(WITH ACKNOWLEGEMENT & THANKS TO A WORK OF THOMAS DeFREEITAS)

2017-11-25
So true Ken.

Winter Snow

2017-11-25
Snow blind. Nicely done.

Storm by Ann Wood

2017-11-25
Interesting Ann. The first 2 lines are intriguing.

Fire

2017-11-25
Oo la la. Nicely done.

This is me

2017-11-25
Thoughts are difficult things to control. I know that. We are all doing the best we can.

the coin

2017-11-25
Interesting. What if you are building one? Step by step or filling in the body for the conclusion. I really don't think much about these things. Maybe I should.

words: inside and outside

2017-11-25
I think in constructs knowing something is possible, then I work backwards filling in the detail. Interesting subject.

The Meeting

2017-11-25
Lovely indeed.

2010

2017-11-25
So brilliantly constructed. Must be a mesmerizing muse :)

1989

2017-11-25
Nicely done :)

Everything Wednesday

2017-11-14
This has it all. Well done :)

Trade Show Blues

2017-11-14
You have to be in the right frame of mind for those things. Alcohol helps though.

Houdini Dog

2017-11-14
So nice. I would always call my son's shoes Houdinis because the laces always came undone.

November

2017-11-14
This is really good Jim. Of course November has a different meaning in this part of the world but I still get it. How many people in this world are stuck with names that do not reflect their person? There is also a sadness here that the reader relates to. Oh and happy birthday (in advance or belated).

Stupid Men

2017-11-10
Brilliantly expressed. But sad really.

New Beginnings

2017-11-10
A wonderful piece that expresses the wonderment of all our new beginnings. Each new day brings new hope for us to be what we dream of. Away from the darkness of yesterday.

Dream walk

2017-11-07
I have days like that. Well expressed.

food for thoughts

2017-11-07
Kind of like on daily autopilot.

Grass Snake

2017-11-07
Your keep the metaphor going nicely here :)

The Sweet Spot

2017-11-07
I always write just before going to bed. It is when my head fills with nonsense to amuse me. I think I would be too self conscious in a public place to write. But I am glad you have your sweet spot :)

One Hungry Squirrel

2017-11-07
I wonder who that certain someone is? :) What a fun thing to do.

Condolences to the families of all victims from New York Attack by Ann Wood

2017-11-07
Yes, it was such a horrific thing.

for little sister

2017-11-07
Sisters are like that. You miss them when they are gone.

An Addict, A Mother, and The Weather

2017-11-05
It must be so hard for you. But they will always be our children for whom we will do anything.

In the Footsteps of So Many Others

2017-11-05
First class would be nice. A refugee from immorality.Great stuff.

She

2017-11-05
Wow, you have it all here. Thank goodness you mentioned the Cocteau Twins. A joy to read.

Beautiful Illution

2017-11-05
Interesting. Made me think.

Ever Gone

2017-11-05
Great stuff. I can feel the tiredness and capitulation.

Vicious Wind

2017-11-05
Well done. It is a great form and you made it work well. I am afraid that I am pretty ignorant about formal poetry structures.

s u r p a s s i n g - THE ALPHABET

2017-11-05
Yes, they are extravagant descriptions. Nicely done.

Female

2017-11-05
We should be what we are. No-one better than the other. I never understood the nonsense of human male dominance considering that the female is the creator. I think it was born of insecurity. Even the word "mankind" was deliberately created to reduce the importance of woman. It is classic reductionism for subjugation. Unfortunately it is still believed in some parts of the world. Thanks for making us think.

A Psalm at 3 a.m.

2017-11-02
Very well crafted. Filled with the inner angst of anxious uncertainty. It beats like a heart in pulse with the attributes of fine poetry.

Dangling Wires

2017-11-02
I agree this is a powerful call to reason. I am reminded me of the line "in the kingdom of the blind the one-eyed man is king". In these tumultuous days we must be careful of what we understand to be true and how we react. Both of these things have the potential to do so much social damage. A brilliant piece.

The story of the rose in winter.

2017-11-02
This work falls down the page just like the subject. It gives it additional feeling.

Yearn

2017-11-02
We all yearn for things. This is powerful.

The Rose in your Heart

2017-10-30
Yes it is. Nicely done.
