Fishing for Stars

2009-07-20
Such a beautiful image - being carried by dragon flies on their backs...
Lovely poem expressing the serene tranquiity one too often is lacking.

Take Me Jesus

2009-07-20
How painful... and well expressed, right from the heart.

Home

2009-07-20

Nicely penned, indeed.

Joseph

2009-06-29
Nice twist to this one - Herode's men as the Irish mist, huh? ;-)
Hope you were able to sleep after such terrifying stories...

Sweet Fate (Limerick Challenge)

2009-05-10
Well, to get from E to B he had to pass C... ;-))

The Maverick (Limerick Challenge)

2009-05-10
Oh, but this is not dealing with size at all, just with not having one at all... Pity for both! ;-))

Euphonic 'Phone Call

2009-04-16
Haiku? You're certainly bending the rules... ;-)
I like the images, evoking special memories...

On haikus

2009-04-14
Exactly! ;-)

e-lationship

2009-04-14
Hahaha! Praise the elation, all ye troubled and hard working - the internet shall make thee free, give thee eternal Fee... i.e. if thee open up to mee! Love thy neighbor over the internet... ;-)

Great advertisement! But then, I am already a fan of thine. ;-D

Apart Together

2009-04-13
You need to be apart together to fix the togetherness together, later on... ;-)
What a lovely delightful poem! Love the rhythm too...

Wings

2009-04-13
flying higher and higher, singing like a lark...
lovely images emerging from this one!

Unintentionally

2009-04-12
Oh, that line was meant for Rob! ;-)

Unintentionally

2009-04-12
Not in this case, believe me! ;-)

Smile...

2009-04-12

That Star

2009-04-12
Twinkle, twinkle little star...
Of course it was convincing you of something marvellous!
Lovely poem about a precious moment. Thanks for sharing!

A Birthday Haiku

2009-04-11
Ah, he's an Aries!
Congratulations to him from another one...
Of course he'll have a wonderful Birthday!

On a Day Like Today

2009-04-10
A sad, moving poem!
The worst things often seem to happen 'on a clear day'.

Brolga

2009-04-10
Wonderful poem! And the myth is ever so moving...
Love the picture, the bird resembles a crane, famous for its dancing at a certain lake in the south of Sweden.

If it's a crime to love you I

2009-04-10
True love is never a crime. Underlying the sincerity is a playful rhythm and I just love it. So, let's sin all we ever can och rejoice greatly!

For Tommy

2009-04-10
Ah, the little angel!
This is like a song. Is there a tune to it?
Such a wonderful poem!

The Bench

2009-04-10
Ah, what a sad story! They had it all but lost it. I do recognize this story line...
Brilliantly narrated!

nether light

2009-04-10
Mmmmm, I love this one! So gentle and illuminating... the woe and yearning for what has been. Never being able to return other than in memory.

Kilgalligan

2009-04-10
What a lovely poem!
I need to visit Ireland, not just dream of doing so...

pearlescence

2009-04-09
Essence of pearls - they need to hold together. One pearl makes no necklace... But the sound of scattering is irresistible.
Lovely poem which holds together, indeed!

Mellow Love

2009-04-09
Love-ly haiku!

Feminine

2009-04-09
Of course not! Only experience will tell...
Lovely poem! Not revealing the mystery at all. ;-)

Egg Blues

2009-04-09
Been there, too. Who hasn't?
Variety can be a blessing, sometimes... ;-)

Well expressed!

Soon!

2009-04-09
You'll meet again
and you really know when...

Lovely poem!

Fairy Tales

2009-04-07
Ha ha - not no be told here...

Eight Years Old

2009-04-07
What a wonderful story! She will probably become a scientist.
Thanks a lot for sharing this gem!

A Real, Clean Limerick

2009-04-07
Yes, it has! And what a beginning... ;-)
It's fun writing limericks this way, I've done it in Swedish, confining to the rules in every sense. Suppose I should try it in English too...

But, where's the dirt?? Or am I asking for too much? ;-)

Dimention

2009-04-07
Misplaced hearts may find their true places...
This is like a mini short story or a quick painting. A few strokes and the picture emerges...

Well done!

Meta-haiku #575

2009-04-07
Haikus can be strange
if you're counting syllables
nature won't enter

;-)

Dreams V

2009-04-07
Shoes have a habit of disappearing when you need them the most... I once misplaced a pair in the refrigerator. "What the hell...?" yelled my man. ;-)

I love these wicked playful dreams! Never stop "telling" us, please.

Action

2009-04-07
Ah, but what about the gift from the start...? ;-)

Loved by you

2009-04-07
Now that's a burning picture!
This might do it... ;-))

Dreams III

2009-04-06
I won't get tired of them, I assure you!
But it's really necessary to regain power after such a dream... ;-)
And having a moonrise every hour is heavy stuff for a poet - indeed!

Yearning

2009-04-06
Beautiful poem to the beloved and to yearning... A sweet thing bringing the lovers together again.

Loved by you

2009-04-05
Very well done, indeed!
I just wish that this poetry form would allow for portraying the heart. But that would call for changes of the rules.
Still, true love is sometimes like a ball, bouncing around playfully... :-)

After the Birthday Party

2009-04-05
Yes, what a slip of spelling... Rather funny! I think I'll leave it that way. It might evoke a laughter, or even two... ;-)

I AM A DYSLEXIAC POET

2009-04-05
My god, I read it in tears. Of both joy and wonder, or better, awe, about your ability to pinpoint what it's all about. We are all alike, we are humans and we are all striving, one way or another, to communicate our innermost thoughts.

You are a true poet! And this poem stays with me. Also as a book mark.
Thank you so much for sharing this. And congratulations to being Editors' choice!

Dreams II

2009-04-05
I think your daughter is right! Obviously, you do too.
Thanks for yet another lovely dream!

Dreams I

2009-04-05
Playful and surreal as dreams often are - when not scaring the living daylights out of you...
Cool poetry from a cool poet! My little smile won't go away... Thanks!
Just close your eyes for a few seconds while I steal that lovely smelling bread...

Dreams IV

2009-04-05
I must admit I don't understand every word.
But the meaning comes through... no doubt about that!
And you succeed in hiding the struggle.

Some dreams are really worth a poem - like this one!
Applauses!

Wanting More

2009-04-05
Round as a bouncing ball
we'll be longing for it all
wanting more than
just one call

sorry, just a fraction of the ball...

Wonderful playful poem!

Rounding it off

2009-04-05
Haiku by the thumb
makes you especially numb -
just don't lose your plum

Sorry, just couldn't help it.

Very nicely haikued by the thumb!
