Favorite of all of these, just--by far. Favorite.
I think mostly because I didn't know about this relationship, and the sweetness of this is wonderful. And very well put into words. I understand the sentiment, and have felt the same way towards my own sister at times.

I agree; the last line of the 4th stanza has really strong meaning.
I feel like the whole poem could be a really depressing metaphor...
I think it would be interesting if this had a companion poem that finished the cycle of life and such, and rebuilt everything that died in this poem. Just a thought.

really snappy but frustrated at the same time...i like how the ending catches you by surprise; from the first two lines i'd expected a love poem
