The Holy Grail of Life

Since the last comment I've changed the word Art to Life

Four O'Clock Rain

A dystopia. A secret longing for the end of days?

This Love So Rare

The world which is basically a whole, split into pairs of opposites when it reaches above the threshold of consciousness. The philosophical alchemists devoted their entire life to make a synthesis of these opposites and C.G. Jung wrote a whole book - Mystery Coniunctionis - dedicated to this problem.

What's the formula?

You might ask an alchemist. :-)

The Legend of Narcissus

To see once reflection in another is a path to knowledge. Even God needs to reflect himself in his creation.

Angelus Silesius (1624 - 1677) wrote in a poem.

In me God is a fire
And I in Him its glow
In common is our life
Apart we cannot grow.

It Was Your Fault #7

Unfortunately, it seems as if war is the only perpetual motion machine that rally works. /GG

Born To Fear

"Children are educated by what the grownup is and not by what he says." (C.G. Jung)

Born To Fear

“If there is anything that we wish to change in our children, we should first examine it and see whether it is not something that could better be changed in ourselves.” (C.G. June, 1932)

When The Child Is Born

It nearly turns into a nursery rhyme.

The Offering

"Come in" she said
"I'll give you shelter from the storm".
(BD) :-)

Pledge Of Allegiance

"In its majestic equality, the law forbids rich and poor alike to sleep under bridges, beg in the streets, and steal loaves of bread."

Pledge Of Allegiance

Define "under God" :-) Anyway, most people know in their heart what Liberty, Equality and Justice means. Just ask someone from the black community in the US or any other group that is (or has been) suffering under religious, economical and/or political oppression. But I agree with you. When it comes to politics and economy, these words becomes rubber-bands stretched by greed and desire to the limit of breaking. /GG

In the freedom from the known

The consciousness that cannot comprehend itself.

In a Fresh Tropical Rain

Sounds like a rebirth.

There are Times ...

There are times
when I see
your face in a crowd
and I turn around......

Makes me think of Dylans words in Every Grain of Sand:

"Sometimes I turn, there’s someone there, other times it’s only me"

This Fragile Earth

I stand upon the wisdom
Of those who've gone before
My hope is for the children
Playing on the shore
The life I've lived is not in vain
It's like a livin' chain
Through every newborn child
Through every little grain
(Göran Gustafsson)

The Evil One

They don't rhyme on heaven. :-)

But A Passing Moment

My favorite lines are

the ocean that bears it all
every savage storm
that rages over its satin surface

We are but a fragile culture built on top of a raw savage organic life.
