ABOUT ME

I'm a semi-retired professor emeritus (of anthropology) at Truman State University. My bachelor's degree is from Indiana University; my doctorate, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. My full name is "Robert Bates Graber," under which most of my scholarly writing has appeared. My latest book is PLUTONIC SONNETS (PublishAmerica, 2008). Its 165 sonnets, which center on the discovery and naming of planets and elements, are for lovers of time, space, science, history, myth, and romance; its dedication page thanks the poets of poetbay.com for comments on drafts of the sonnets. PLUTONIC SONNETS is available online at (among others) http://www.publishamerica.com, and http://www.amazon.co.uk. I think you'd like it!
