ABOUT ME

I've always wanted to be a writer. Even before I enjoyed reading, I admired the profession. I had several literary attempts throughout childhood: I wrote little kids' stories when I was seven or eight. In my preteen years, I attempted a few unfinished horror stories, and in my teen years, I had a fantasy novel, as well as some plays and short stories, all of which remained unfinished.

I started writing poetry in high school. I've worked on other projects, but poetry has been my primary literary outlet for the past 15 years or so.

My style has evolved and continues to do so. I like to experiment with different topics and ideas. I've been influenced by books and poetry I've read, by movies I've seen, and by music I listen to. I try to create something unique and incorporate my own personal experiences.

Happy writing,
- Thomas Perdue
