ABOUT ME

I've always wanted to be a writer. Even before I enjoyed reading, I admired the profession. I had several literary attempts throughout childhood: I wrote little kids' stories when I was seven or eight, attempted several unfinished horror stories in my preteen years, a fantasy novel in my early high school days, as well as some plays and short stories during that same time period (none of which I finished).

I started writing poetry in highshool. I've worked on other projects, but poetry has been my primary literary genre for the past 15 years or so.

My style has evolved overtime. I've experimented with different topics and forms. Sometimes it works out and other times it doesn't. I've been influenced by books and poetry I've read, by movies I've seen, and by music I listen to. I try to create something unique and incorporate my own personal experiences.

Happy writing,
- Thomas Perdue
