Our holiday at the sea side day six by Ann Wood
Good morning world, it is late in the morning when I wake up. Mom comes to tell me that breakfast is ready and after breakfast we will leave Devon. I get a shower and get ready for the day. It is again very hot day; I open my windows to get fresh air in my room. I go to the kitchen where my family is already there. We eat our breakfast, and then mom makes sandwiches for the journey. I clean the table and kitchen, and then I take the dog for short walk before we go. I will miss this place; it is such a nice town. We start our journey at 11am; we have just over 2 hours to traveling. Mom stop on nears petrol station to refuel the car and the gas bottle. I get the morning news papers and some water from the shop. We start our journey again. Few miles later we stop for break and refresh ourselves. I did some pictures and few short video clips with my camera. I really am enjoying our holiday. We get really nice weather for now. Grandpa reading his news paper, grandma talking on the phone with hers sister in Canada. I and mom have a small talk about our holiday. We past really nice country side views. Mom put the radio on and starts singing the song which was on; she is a good singer and playing few musician instruments. I also love singing and play piano and violoncello. We stop for short break again in small farm shop to get some fresh fruits and vegetables, milk, bread and some fresh meat too. I take the dog for walk around the farm, it is so nice here. The owner of the farm invites us for lunch. It was so kind of her to invite us for lunch. We have roast dinner with roast vegetables, mash potatoes, gravy and home made bread. Then we have mixed barriers pie with custard and ice cream. After our yummy lunch I help the owner to clean the table and she gives me home made cookies and what left of the pie to take it with us. A haft hour latter we say good bye to her and continuo our journey. I am so happy when I meet nice people. The owner gives us hers address and phone number and say to call her if we need fresh vegetables and fruits at any time. Also invite us for Christmas to visit her. At 4 pm we reach Plymouth we go to my uncle's house to visit them. Mom and my auntie cook for us dinner. My grand parents and uncle have a chat, I and my cousins playing monopolies. We will stay for few days here it is my uncle and untie wedding anniversary this weekend. We enjoy our time together with my cousins and uncle and auntie. At 7pm we have our dinner BBQ, roast vegetables, salads and home made bread my mom make it. For pudding we have ice cream and bread and butter pudding with custard. After dinner I clean the table with my cousins. Then we all go to the lounge where we have pub quiz and bingo night. At 12 clocks we say good night to each other and go to bed. We stay in guest house of my uncle home. They have big house and gardens, with horse stable and gazebo. In the end of the back garden have big swimming pool and tennis court. I love my uncle's home it is so beautiful here and have nice view. We also have very big house with mom; with big gardens, swimming pool, fishpond, two gazebos, and tennis court and green and guest houses. After we back from our holiday my grand parents will move to leave with us. Mom did the guest house with disabled bathroom and toilet, for them. A nurse and care workers will come every day to help them. I love my family so much. It is time I get some sleep goodnight world.Short story by Ann Wood
