Especially When

My heart warms itself

by the breeze-brushed chill-blushed fire

of October leaves.

So much said in the abbreviated syllables of a haiku. From warmth to fire to breeze and October's color. Beautiful!

Definitely heartwarming, beautifully descriptive.

All at Coo & Co very much enjoyed this haiku, Thomas :>)

We appreciate the beauty of nature you showcase here, and we particularly like the internal rhyme in the second line. Coo notes that 'brushed' is pleasingly onomatopoeia-ic (or something). We love 'fire' in connection with the movement of the leaves. And all at Coo & Co didst applaud together. Woo-hoo! :>o
