My Niece and her two children were brutally attacked and murdered 6 years ago on September 28, 2000. This is in remembrance of them. The fairytales and nursery rhymes were silenced that day.

A Nightmare in the Nursery

Rock a bye babies in the tree top
when the wind blows
we
all
fall
down
and in our tears
we
drown
.
.
.

Baa Baa Black sheep
why did you take our babies?
We can't see them now
and we moan and we howl
for we loved them

!
!
!

Little Bo Beep Lost her lambs
and she was slaughtered as well
after living a night in hell
:
:
:

Brad and Jill lived up on the hill
then they were thrown
down
in the dark,
cold
ground

"
"
"

There was a crooked man
who did an awful thing
he tortured a mother
killed her and her babies too
stomping her feet
and ruining her shoes

?
?
?

Girls and Boys came out to play
then the black sheep murdered them
that horrible day

Intery, mentery cutery-corn
on the 28th of September
the nightmare was born

\
\
\

Twenty white horses
upon a red hill
cried for the lives of
Kimberly, Brad and Jill

'
'
'

We Remember You Still.
~~~~
My heart is full of sorrow,
my mind is full of pain
in all of my tomorrows
the days
are
filled
with
rain.
This is probably the most painful poem you ever wrote. What courage that you have to share this with us. I'm honored to be able to read this. Love is strong in this, and so will justice!
What more can be said. Each word mourns, each sign screams.
I can but support murmur
In your grief for the people sweet
They'll wait for you at the Great Port!
Gurgling water beneath your feet...
That is beyond horrible. For me, and for most others too I believe, this is something only seen on FBI files on Tv, safe and distant to it all. You had this happening to your OWN family and I cannot even faintly imagine the horror. Evil is everywhere, leaving crying WHY's in its trail. This poem is unique, dark and extremely well written. That it comes from the most shattering personal experience and story makes it pitch black and brings evil in a shape well seen, my hairs rise and Im muted after reading this, mother. Only you can write like this.
No words can express.
May your loved ones "forever live"... in your heart.
In prayer with you.
I'm so sorry to hear about their murders, Kathy. That is so horrible. I will never understand how people can be that evil.
