A deep poem about how our innocents can go astray.

My Innocents

You came along one winter day

Now my innocents has gone astray

My barrier from the biting storm

My innocents has gone away

My defenses would finally decay

Now my innocents had gone astray

The only fire that kept me warm

My innocents has gone astray

My life in permanant disarray

Now my innocents has gone astray

You were the poison and I was the child

My innocents has gone away
