I know it for shure . . .

When the battle is over . . .

. . . To who, do the corpses belong?

Don't kill when you are angry my friend!

and don't do it when you are young . . .

please don't do it ever . . .

you don't know where your soul . . .

going to belong . . .

ONE LOVE . . . in ETERNITY!

Dan you are a dear and gentle man and I agree with your heart. Unfortunately sometimes people are put in positions where they have to make a terrible choice, kill or be killed, or kill or allow someone else to be killed. I ponder these things, such as killing in wars when you might save hundreds of innocent people by taking the life of a terrorist. These are the things I talk to God about a lot. I go back to the Bible and the commandment "Thou Shall Not Kill". In my studies I understand a better interpretation of that commandment is "Thou Shall Not Murder". That makes me think again. And I wonder again if there is ever a time it is just in God's eyes to take another human's life. These are hard questions. I love all the wonderful gentle poems you write and you make me think about my beliefs. Thank you for that.
