The Blooming of Morning Glory

Come little sleepy flower
Buried beneath that horrid tower
Of tainted dirt and words of hate
Climb now over that prison gate
Find your freedom in clean pure air
Let the seeds of love plant you where
You will grow and bloom and thrive
Through the storms you have survived
So turn your face up to the sun
Open your petals one by one
Show your beauty found within
While the healing graces mend
And then the world will surely know
The Morning Glory of your soul.

"the morning glory of your soul" - a very beautiful image comes in my mind with those words... i see this little flower, easily crushed by the tempers of weather, yet it survives and thrives come spring time when it is given the space to grow... a bit like our fragile hearts can go through at times in the ups and downs of life... given the space and the right dose of sun, and the world is another place suddenly... i'm thinking of love here... so very lovely :) *hugs* xx

I love the morning glory,
And the way it winds itself
Round and round the tree trunks,
Climbs the abysmal, impossible heights-
Slowly gradually, surely, up and up...
I love the sweet fragrance it spreads
And the way its flowers, your garden wall dress...

(((And I love, freshness of this tribute to the 'Morning Glory')))
*Hugs*
Love, Zoya

This poem is a beautiful exposition of the morning glory and its beautiful flower in the morning but
may I compliment you
in a cheeky hero way

even that is put into the shade by the radiance in your smile
i will call you Morning glory Katherine xxxxxxxylk
