for the man of my dreams who now has become the man of my life

The Infinite Wealth of My Forever Joy

All of Heaven and all of Earth
Of land and sea and sky
All of these great and mighty things
Become so personal in my eyes
For you have brought to me a love
That opens the world so brilliantly
The water, the air, the richest soil
Enhance the life around me
And in my autumn years of now
Beyond into the winter's days
There is the spring of eternal love
Lasting  into all of summer's haze
There is no end to this love I feel
It cannot e'er be denied
It's the infinite wealth of my forever joy
To you I must confide
That if all the world around me fails
And death comes to my door
My spirit will rise and forever sing
I love you even more

Sigh. You make me miss what I knew. Nep makes me miss what I never knew.
Love the sheer beauty of this write, a taste of bitter chocolate turned sweet.

Hi Kathy

Your poems always have a lovely touch of class
and the elegance of an undiminished purity
as does this beautiful love poem plucked
once again from your ever green loving heart.

What can I say about this sweeping poem of true love? It has the feeling of newness though the couple is mature. The words are fresh, healing, a new and forever love.
"Oh love! young Love! bound in thy rosy band,
Let sage or cynic prattle as he will,
These hours, and only these, redeem
Life's years of ill."
Byron-Childe Harold
