and in the depths of my soul
If you only ever knew just how deeply rooted you are in me
Even if
in our everyday life we pass by each other
and are blind to each other
Even if
she inspires you more than me
her smile looks so much more alive than me
I know you can, and you have proved it
look into my depths
read the waves and currents and swim down into the deepest parts of me
I know you can see those jewels within me
some days
others..
you look straight through me
and I am once again an enigma
and all these things are just hopes and dreams
left to whither away
