Nothingness

let me just lay here, watching the stars
floating

rambling conversations about everything and nothing
and my mind heals
my anger dissipates

Let me stay in this floating timelessness

Life
leave me tonight
do not return till I am ready

I cannot muster a smile for you
for now
the cynic lives in my bitter words
breathing them out like poisoned smoke
my sarcasm causing laughs

we sit there and live in the floating, painful and bitter things we have to swallow
staring at the stars
letting life not exist for just a few hours

I would like to have a book of this kind of poetry; for the times when I wanted to dissappear into timelessness and let myself float in the wonders of the subtle influence of words.

You've probably gathered I'm a fan.

Thanks.
