These Memories Keep Passing Me By

These memories keep passing me by
Like grains of sand in the hour glass,
Or clips of old dusty movies
Long since viewed by eager eyes

These memories keep passing me by,
Bit by bit, they fade
Into the nothingness of time and oblivion;
Oblivious to me

And to he, who by little experience
Sheds many tears.
Or more so to he who by much experience
Sheds many more a tear

We may forget times gone by but they are retained deep within the mind. It's amazing how the smallest of triggers can bring them flooding back again.

Enjoyed the read, thanks.

Tomas , some memories of the past. Are some times best to let go. As better memories are being created.
