Kings and Queens
Great men come from great women being worthy of onlygreat men
Great women come from
asking more from life
and not
surrendering ones fluttering heart
to the first honeyed tongue
surrounding her mind with bittersweet promises
that erode into lies
or making excuses
that create logical explanations
for giving in to shadows of what one actually wants
