"Feel too much and it overwhelms because pure Beauty is sadness"
(a quote from Elle.)

Paraphrasing The Muse

What is it about Art my friend, that Beauty alone never gives us contentment?
"You don't know? "Feel too much and it overwhelms because pure Beauty is sadness" and like a writer's
dream is transient. Only the Word endures."
Why does the Poet's soul ever seek the Muse?
"Because Truth is Blinding, the very naked Vision of is in essence more powerful than the mind is made to contain."
Why must we love, only to feel once irresistible waves exhaust themselves at last upon distant, lonely
foreign shores.
"Love is a living candle burning in a hand that seeks to find it's match, exposed to the elements
of night, while ever longing for the day,"
What are we oh Muse?
"We are but Word made flesh, dreaming we were Words."

Your poem is very unique,  I especially like "We are but Word made flesh, dreaming we were Words."

The tortured soul of creation, the sheer power of a note played and a song sung, all can be so emotive and breathtaking
