many young ones reject the views of the elders

A SOUL IN DILEMMA: Part 2

A SOUL IN DILEMMA

Part Two:

My son, since your mind is still fresh,
The junction waits for the wise; the journey to continue.
Pull up the socks of understanding.
While I speak, keep your ears raised.
The carrefour needs not universal arithmetic
But a son once appreciated, 'the flower of the flock'
Now that my back bends and I am edentate,
Lead me by the hand.
Will the going bring tough encounters,
Through my old experiences, the end shall be kept.

Should you say I practice the black art,
That the good I can't deliver,
The junction needs a wise choice.
Those yet there, howl praises.
It wasn't the golden chance
But while the other lads condemned my rebuke,
They keenly swam through my advices.
I know you are not Mr. know-it-all
Nor are you a fool.

Keep your ear raised,
Otherwise,
Your
Life's
March
Will be a wild goose
Chase.
