Sonnet Re-write

And let your light forever bathe my face
Your smile seek out each corner of my fears
At times when I may stumble from the race
Your sun filled soul to warm and dry my tears
A wishing star for building dreams upon
Glinting at the corner of my eye
Cannot eclipse the glow within my heart
Which speaks to me your name and bids me fly
Lovelorn I am wandering in a maze
In search of a loving guiding hand
To lead me from this disappointed haze
And transport me from this broken promised land

You are the only sight required by me
For every breaking dawn now left to be.

Beautiful, you have tempted to re-try a sonnet myself but I don't think I would probably do it justice as you have here

A beautiful sonnet with wonderful images. Sonnets aren't easy. This one flows very well.
