Thanks William for making me recall the wonderful nature and its inhabitants

Tomorrow

Tomorrow, I shall walk along the cliffs
and count the kestrels their trick of light
speed and wings that seem almost stationery
and I will revel when they suddenly swoop,
once years ago, I was just getting into my car
and suddenly a kestrel fell to earth a mere metre from me
then rose more magnificent than a phoenix
his poor and dangling prey and whoosh he was gone.

Tomorrow I will watch that portly male pheasant
his bright plumage and his feather brain
as in hot pursuit he will tumble over gates
and fall out of low trees, gutterally complaining
and I will recall the day my napoleon cat
chased one up a tree, the cacophany of sound
and a cat a mere size but with every tendril
of his being a hunter amongst the great.

Tomorrow, dawn soon and be bright
and if I am quick enough perhaps a
cameo call on my camera, though sadly
too often the moment happens in blink.

I captured a butterfly last week
I was happy with that

i'm excited for you, what wonders will happen in a blink?!

Tomorrow and yesterday's memories, a perfect combination for poetry.

Three victories, the kestrel's, the cat's and yours. What fun. No wonder you can't wait for tomorrow.

Such beautiful and hopeful imagery. I love the visions.
