For those who enjoy Coldplay.

Music Therapy

I'm here in my living room
feeling narrow,
wanting horizons broad,
Coldplay play,
Glastonbury lit
and lights are pink
in paradise.

Zone of comfort
split,
eyes open
drink in courage
lasered frenzy,
drumming in my heart,
beats
then slow,
I'm in the everglow,
lifted,
nothing else compares.

first title to catch my eye...nothing makes me feel as good as music your words convey shared experience
We are only human after all don't put the blame on us or me or you...just let the beat and rhythm set us free...

Shells, Very relatable and well crafted piece. Love that resonating zone listening to my favorite tracks on Spotify. I also enjoy playing background counter-melodies on the horn or keyboard while listening. Enjoyed reading your poem. Regards. gsv

Listening to music is the best kind of therapy one can afford to do. And great poem. Captured the emotions.
