IN THE BEGINING WERE WORDS!

The words were first spoken - the human ape crated speech
Told story's - poetry recited to each other - history's - same way
Handed them down fore generations to hear - listen - hand on - down
Then writing invented - crated - on slate - Egyptian - papyrus - Romans - wax wood
Computers - the net - words - words - more and more - WORDS - spread click - sent
Now kindle - and simulators
Later paper - words - reading - spread - till the whole world had words to read - and write - using words!
Words - now fore all time - live - LIVE - WORDS since humans - came into beings!

I love the way you started this Ken. It comes from John1:1 regarding Jesus Christ. It is amazing how without the -word-
we would not have had the Bible passed down nor any written history nor written knowledge. It is good that language was printed, marked, symbolized in someway. The Internet has opened the doors for the world to meet through the printed word.
However, for pure enjoyment, I love the smell of a book, the feel of the paper, and the comfort of a great novel by a fire crackling on a snow-covered wintry night. :) kathy
