Ramblings 299

It's like you can see the train ahead

And your feet are bolted on the tracks

Even though in reality

Nothing's restraining them at all.

Nothing visible anyway.

It's like you know it's nothing good

And no matter how much you know

It'll never come to your aid

Or prevent any of it from happening.

All's left is to brace yourself for impact

And close your eyes...

There is nothing worse than reliving something horrible again and again. Some people bury what happens to them and no amount of therapy gets it out. Others are burdened with it all the time like a huge crushing weight. When it so becomes over-powerful I don't know what the answer is. There is something in my memory that has given me my current problems. Maybe I am just too scared to try and retrieve it. Big hugs my dear friend.

For me, these words paint a very vivid picture of the frustrations and challenges of the mind. Succinct yet the 2 paragraphs deliver with impact. Words I can imagine would well suit a character in a Dean Koontz novel who was contemplating the dilemma of their circumstance. A text which touched and moved me.

dommage que je ne comprends pas toutes les subtilités de cette langue, ses manières de parler si tu vois ce que je veux dire....

your description, so visual, is powerful in its portrayal of those times when all control is gone and life is about to have its way.
All we can do is close our eyes and wait and, if we have faith, pray...

As I read this, I felt the anxiety (physically)!!

applause!

Some times the waited shoes
are only wade down by our
own dowtes - the - fears
of our imgernatan
then - we colese our eyes
open - them wide - and see
nothing - but - the open road!
then lift each - foot - and shoe
and take THAT first steps - onwards!
