9-11

They were 2, quite impressive and tall

New York landmarks, majestic and all.

We will always remember

this day in September

we who saw both of Twin Towers fall.

Thank you for writing and posting such a beautiful tribute to this day of remembrance. It truly was a day etch deep in my heart and my mind. I'll always remember exactly the moments and what I was doing, where I was, and the look on the faces of those around me. I was a teacher in a Head Start classroom of three and four year old children. Some parents were still bringing children into the room. I was told by one of those parents. I quickly turned on the tv and saw the 2nd plane. The horror was too much for all of us. I made the decision to turn it off. I had to conduct the class as if it were any other day for these little ones. After the day was done, reality began again...

It will never be forgotten by those who saw it, and even those who saw it only on television. At first I thought I was watching a movie, it was so unbelievable.

A sad anniversary.
