Current Music:  "Way to Be" - Seven Summers

NOTE:  2016 09 30  00H55 EST  It'll Never Come - ramblings...

It'll Never Come

You wish for a normal

As the years pass on

and it never comes.

You didn't ask for

any of this

It happened, that's that,

and it couldn't be helped.

A normal anything,

how wonderful it'd be,

or so you surmise,

without really knowing.

Tired of all this.

The exhaustion is

inexpressible in words;

none come, ever.

A normal anything...

Oh what a wish.

Feels so unrealistic,

so unattainable.

I completely agree, bravo.

If by normal you mean, I have to have a Facebook and Twitter account, queue up all night to buy an iphone, buy cars, beers and deodorant, etc based on the hope of it all improving my sex appeal, cut body parts off with a chain saw to boost my youtube subscribers and spend the rest of my life texting to people across the table, why I cut body parts off, rather then speaking to them in person, hmmmm then maybe I'll skip normal. So if it never comes you'll find me on the outside teaching my goldfish to kickbox :-)

Apologies for my flippant attempt at humour as your words do convey a serious message, if by normal you mean, a life where you can breath in each day freely without pause for thought to the past or doubt in oneself for the future. May these days be gifted to you sooner rather than later.

This is a very effective poem. The brevity of the lines gives each word a special force.

I think Sameen is right. There is no such thing as normality. We are who we are even with all the problems. The main thing is to not let them define you. You are the wonderful person that you are in spite of these things. Please don't lose hope, but I understand how at times you feel like it. Hugs my friend.

no one has a normal anything
which is sad
who made this facade of the normal?

When my kids were in school, I used to see other kids and other parents, and wonder what it was like to lead the sorts of normal lives that they seemed to be leading. I never found out.

My Sweet poetry friend,
your heart reaches beyond and through and out into lives and hearts, beating life blood, the breath of life and light for so many who would be without a special shining star in their lives. This star often may be the only light they have. And so, they in turn, while standing in this radiance, reflect back their radiance to you.
We depend on one another my shining star, my sweet poetry friend. Write your heart, and fears, and let tears flow as rain helps all things grow. For both are needed in growth. Sun- the shining star, and rain-the tears, help the buried seed to sprout, then eventually bud, and finally bloom!
What a beautiful Flower you are! Each word is fragrant and your poetry is full of your essence! Did you not know you are a Star Rose? xo kathy

I regard my self , as abnormally normal! In being so , I look out upon this world. Some times , I LOL , smile , some times I cry , I weep. Those I call friends ans love them as only friends can. And they , think as like me. Love me as I love them , call me friend. We walk side by side , with arms locked. We go down the road of life , side by side.

Hmm ... it does feel like that way. Beautifully said.
