A short poem about grieving and missing a beloved person. These lines are dedicated to my grandfather.

Final words

Your voice

How well I remember it

A soothsayer's talk

And full of encouragement

Sad, I cannot walk

Any place

To meet with you again

Or just to see you again

But I hear your voice

The tune

And the laughter

Is a gift

Memories that we can cling to for comfort. Love it.
