When you build your home, do you not but a door on the front and the back with a lock? Or do you leave it open for anyone or anything to come in uninvited to possibly take what you have, hurt you, and attack? Any nation has rules and regulations to follow in order to become welcomed into their land. Isn't the USA allowed the same protections for the people who love their homeland? Immigration is good and should be allowed when laws are followed as many have done before and are doing now. Why should one who sneaks through the line and takes the place of those who've been waiting for years, following the laws, and working so hard to be becomes citizens, be given rewards instead of those millions earning their way day by day? There're two ways to look at this and in both victims are made. These are what makes our country a great Republic. Why are so many coming here if they do not find us to be better than that from which they are leaving? So, please, do not judge the USA in wanting to protect all it's citizens both domestic and foreign born. We are not more strict than any other country in the world in regard to immigration. In fact, we are very compassionate in our welcoming and helping those in need. Our people are not the so called "Washington Elite" government establishment who have been living off of and getting rich from the hard working people of this wonderful nation! We are person's of empathy and caring who love others but at the same time believe in fairness and abiding by the laws set for all of us.
