White Dandelions

Everything is quiet now
The world is at its rest
Problems are all sleeping
Even those you canít digest
The stars play hide and seek
Among rolling bulbous clouds
The grass is a matted blanket
Clumped high in woven crowds
And at intervals all across the lawn
White dandelions heads held high
Are waiting for Christmas winds
To blow Santa Claus to the sky
Blow gently these long days ahead
Do not forsake this luscious bed
Bees have pollinated them to shed
For wafting breeze to lift and spread
