vertigo

i have always preferred physics more than maths
because with maths, you can always divide a number
by 2 and it's haunting but with physics, underneath
the quarks, you have found the bottom of the division.

I'm not so sure. Consider Zeno's paradox of the Tortoise and Achilles. As with numbers, any physical thing can be halved.

Physics makes math understandable, but I can see the vertigo in the quarks and the divisions.

physicists have been finding the bottom for decades, centuries. are quarks truly the bottom? maybe they're the beginning.

vertigo is right!
