I thought I was a handyman
The basics I can understand
Something lost between mind and hand
Makes the outcome not what I planned
All the manuals I have read
Are still there inside my head
And I follow every step they have said
But always end up with a mess instead
I told the lady inquiring of me
That I am a handyman you see
Angrily she gazed on the work I'd done
I said “I live opposite, handy to everyone”

That's a fair description of my skills.

Lol ... I understand the feeling. I thought sewing looked like something I could do once, but after reading all the instructions, the result were not what I expected. I think being a plumber must be the hardest. Well, then there is electrical work, and ...
It's all hard.
Good writing though. :)
