The poem is a bit inadequate in spots, to its author's ear, but the joy and the gratitude inspired by the person addressed in the poem is wholehearted and genuine.

[untitled, for now]

your voice is springtime
in the middle of a blizzard

your voice gives birth to blossoms and brightness
in the cold gray garden of january

your voice is summoning those who listen
to places where the heart can play

your voice is a language
that no one has spoken before

your voice is the wonder of a child
exploring secret rooms and hallways

of an endless and glittering mansion

your voice is beyond rhyme     beyond reason

your voice is the language of the heart
suffering and exultant

your voice is nourishment when the soul hungers
and refreshment when the spirit is spent

your voice is the calculus of splendour
the physics of imagination

your voice is solemn and sacred
playful and mischievous

your voice gives life to those lives
who have not yet dared to live

your voice is grace and generosity
blessing and bounty

your voice is energy and restoration
peace and healing

thank you     sweet and noble one
for the gift of your song

may it soar to the heights of the fertile earth
may it plunge into deep blue heaven

Oh my God. This is soaring, close to the sun, almost burning, but still lands on soil, in heart and mind, wow ... this is beautiful, great poetry, wonderful

I like it. I didn't read anything which clunked noticeably.
