I never realized that we were goin' down,

and I realize that you have unique needs,
but all your talking doesn't justify your deeds.

But I can't get you out of my head now,
and we're drifting farther apart, wow,
it's the same old cliche,
but we're beating it to the ground.

And I can't seem to say a word now,
planting benevolent seeds of hate, now,
and it's gonna happen,
till the day we're dead...
please stop it,
and apologize instead.
