Under-water

I am taking a midnight drive
Just to know that I am still alive

I will hold the moon in my arms
And tell the sky of my demands

With the wind in my hair
And nothing to care

But the sound of the waves crashing
Where there is no one around.

I know of a secret place
Which will remain unknown

Itís where I am headed now
With this heart that feels so cold

That's where I find my inner peace
Using breath and release ...
...Under-water.

Very, very affective. The imagery is all encompassing while
the message is so close, quiet, and private. My heart hurts. A very beautiful poem, Ashe. So pure and real.

This is a very vivid poem. I'm with you. I don't think that there's anywhere more peaceful than being under water. Alas, to get underwater here, I would have to chip through the ice on my pool, and I don't believe that going under would be especially soothing.

So wonderful. I suppose when you are in the ocean, no-one can let you down and marine animals have reason to do things. Unlike humans who are unfathomable (a marine pun there). But don't give up on people. Some may surprise you. I enjoyed this but felt a bit sad.
