Spring Time Approaches

Spring time approaches flowers bloom
Tired of rain, dark skies and gloom
Clear blue skies, sun shining bright
Bears awaken from their extended night
Morning song from birds in the trees
Snowing melting from the winter freeze
Spring time approaches warm breezes blow
Streams and creeks, their waters flow
Trees cover the earth in a blanket of green
Fields of colors, so much can be seen
Spring time approaches warm weather arrives
Tilt back my head and enjoy the sunshine in the sky
As breezes blow I close my eyes
Listening to the music of the wind chimes
Enjoying the peacefulness of day time

Delightful, full of springtime optimism, I can't wait for it to happen here in the U.K. Though there are a few snowdrops and crocus flowers in my garden already.
