But I am a sun shining bright
outside your frequency
You said I am a machine
But my machinery is only
the construct this ghost presents to you
You said I am a goddess
But I am only a woman and
wield no power over your heart
You said I won't hurt or care
But my heart shattered and bled across these pages
I tried to show you
You said I am an enigma
But I am only invisible
when I stand next to you
You said I am poison.
But you are the angry bitterness
that lives within me
the hurt and fear
that bleeds through the edges
of me and him.
