Window Watching

He lays by the window
Gazing at the clear
azure sky- Watching birds
fly every which-a-way
Past the window
He lays by...

Birds flap on quite often
The window clear of rain
And clear of wild winter
Where cold windows
Shiver from iced pane

Gray skies do not call you
Where cold is everywhere
He likes calm blue skies
outside, where his window
Breathes warm air...

His table, by the window
With towel lying flat-
"Soon my window will be
warm... I hope"
Sighs Geo, the cat
