For my daughter's House- 2008

Big Boom

Wild wind came
Too much of a breeze
That loves to harass
The mighty big trees

Trees think they're strong
But could be they're old
Even young trees
Don't stand a chance-
When the winds are bold

Big tree started falling
Right toward the house-
"Yikes, it's coming!"
Cried little mouse...

The tree was a worry
A giant in the sky; That
rough-rocked birdies
When wind swept by

Poor birdies nest flew
And birdies did too-
And the wind bellered,
"Toodle-de-doo!"

Wild wind puffed- And
puff-puffed little mouse;
And big tree fell
Away from the house
