Living in Hope

I live in a small town
Along the coast of Keep Going
Only further inland
But not as far as Not Knowing

It has the name of Hope
And is a strange little place
When I get up in the morning
There is a forced smile on my face

Buses go through main street
They come from out of town
Going to Easyville and Simple City
So passengers never get down

But I just mind my own business
I think that things could be worse
I'll stay this pointlessly glib poet
With obvious rhymes to his verse
