MANCHESTER - 22 MAY 2017!

In 1940 - 1941, Manchester suffered the blitz
Hitler and his NAZES reckoned that people of
Manchester, give in to fear, they had not reckoned
On the spirits of the Manchunians - the Mancs!
Who ever whatever! Will only, make the Mancs STRONGER!

NOW: 22 May 2017:

Offers of a bed, a soffer, made, a brew, built a stack chip butties!
Taxi drivers, given free rides home, a safe return to the family!
First aiders, more used to sprains, minor accidents, cuts, nothing major!
Faced that night, 22nd of May 2017, with carnage, step up - step in
Rolled up their sleeves, applying tourniquets, stemmed the blood gushing out of wounds
Cleaning wounds, RESITING picking out , bolts, nails, shrapnel - REMEMBRING
The training, should they of removed - any - then they, would have killed with kindness! those same bolts, nails and all, now kept the casualties ALIVE!
From the bomb, those caught in the blast had such horrific wounds!
Those of all faiths - beliefs, and those of none at all! Held the hands as some died.
Side by side, Muslims, Jews, Christians, Sikes, Humanist, Atheist, just Mancs
Being what they are, Humanity! Itself!
Asking: '' What can I do? ''; '' Where do you want me? ''

A homeless man, living on the streets, hears the explosion, his instinctive humanity
Kicks in, rushes in, finds a young girl, badly injured, crying, covered in her own blood, The homeless man kneels down, cradles the lass, gives her soothing words, lass, dies, in his comforting arms

Twenty-second of May 2017,- A CITY UNITED WILL NEVER EVER BE DEFFETED!

Well done Ken. Sometimes terrible things happening brings out the best in people.
