Now, he had many detractors!
Today, it would be said, into days British-English literary farts of the day!
William, was a naff poet!, rubbish, crap, for you, dear American readers!
Just not a good poet at all. Now did no hearing, William ttunndrende deff on them all this, did William,
Wrote, and he had more they had more talent than they could shake a stick at!

Anyway, William was far too occupied, writing his poetry, as only William, could!
Now no one could tell, William, that his poetry, so naff!
No, William, applied to be The Royal Court Poet Laureate, William, were nerver invited!
That never, stopped, our William, regerly applying! All the same!
I recon, today, He'd be pester, the Nobel Comity, demanding he be warded,
The Nobel, prize for his poetry, and why not, Bob Dylan, got one, and he only wrote
songs!
Now if I were only half as bad, as William, then I'd be, twise as good as I am, as a versalater - poet!
