Reclaiming the mountains
It's a conquest every year
to make the effort of a risky journey
to return to the ideal geography
of mountains the most beautiful on earth
and highest and most unattainable,
but still at least you can approach them
and prove equal to their unattainability
by making just a visit to their presence,
proving that you love their purity
and continue to be faithful to their beauty
by revisiting them every year,
for which you also are rewarded,
as their gift to you is your well-being,
a rebirth, rejuvenation, reinforcement of your energies,
no matter how you strain yourself in arduousness,
the wonder being, that the harder you exert yourself,
the better will be your condition
and the more refined your energies.
