No Two Alike

Snowflakes, take a lesson

in individual variety

from the many hijabs

of the women of Boston!

Sparkles, filigree, floral patterns,

scores of colours, subtle and bold--

framing a face

of light and peace:

to be sure, no two alike!

Just today, I saw a headdress

of the richest purple—

my eyes savoured it,

forbidden wine.
