Waiting For Time

I am waiting for time
That may sound strange
For all minutes and hours
To correctly rearrange
Hoping things to be done
Will stop hanging around
For the days to speak
After weeks without sound
For years to look back
As they fly out the window
For the trees without fruit
To know why they still grow
As I look into the eyes
Of old dogs who know living
Hearing loud babies crying
To all mothers so giving
I am waiting for time
Late without an excuse
I sit silent in limbo
Circled by lifeís refuse

Ashe The PoetBay support member heart!
Each two lines takes me deeper and deeper into that melancholy place where we all wait for time.
You seem to stop all dreams to wait with this poem. Fascinating.
