It is October by Ann Wood

It's October. And I'm getting gold now.
In the embrace of autumn I am silent.
My wind dances in a rainfall.
A sunbeam, an occasional smile ...
And I know I still have time.
The cold? I'll forget it by the door.
From my days I will take hope.
From the nights - I will take the silence ...
And again I will be so different.
Both yellow and orange-red.
The world is as colorful as love,
and every fall is looking at me ...
Through the sun, the day is brand new.
And the wind? Dancing the joy.
October becomes Love!
When kissed by a woman.

This is delightful, I love that line "the cold? I'll forget it by the door. I'm a Summer person, but there is such beauty in Autumn, I love the colours.

I cherish this poem's gentleness, its quiet exultation.
