Fall Cheer

Days warm and cheerful
About us shines sun
You hope to hang onto
Where Fall has begun

Folks cleaning yards
Putting Summer away
Maybe humming a tune
With a swing and a sway

Enjoying Fall's sunshine
For once I remember
My gosh- it was cold!
One bitter September

Warm lovely weather
And thinking it o'er
Out past the sunshine
Maybe there's more
