Do not believe for a second that North Korea is a threat to anyone. The United States is the most savage, barbaric, evil nation in the world. Wish for our destruction if you seek peace on earth.

Kim Jong-un

I will throw in my lot with the little fat man,
Having suffered through fixes like his before.
Who has he harmed? What did he do
To antagonize Donny, the bully, the moron,
Who drools a little as he makes idle threats?
Donny's compadres, stupid as he, also threaten
The fat man. How dare he presume he's
Entitled to live as he chooses? Donny says
That cannot be. He and his pals will decide
How we live, everyone, everywhere, fat men
And thin, but the little guy, smiling, off on
His own, says, “You cannot scare me.
I know how to kill you.” “Do it. Save us,
Little fat man,” I mumble, as Donny's
Cheap-suited operatives hear me, and lead
Me away.

I was not questioning anyone's freedom of expression, only registering my disagreement with what reads, in part, as an endorsement of a dictator as preferable to our deplorable so-called president--who was "elected," evidently, with the help of a dictator. As to the question, "Whom has he hurt?": I understand that there is evidence of the blood of opponents on the hands of both the North Korean and Russian dictators.

Rob, I believe this is an unfair comment on this poem since it is hardly praise for a dictarshp and the USA at the moment is hardly an admired or has a stable situation in government. I don't want this to become a public feud, but I believe that there is still freedom of speech, and poetry has often been used as a vehicle for expressing opinions, unless it is a policy of this site.

For all its faults and failings, the US has been an inspiration to other nations, that have succeeded even less at solving the hard probems of integrating large numbers of people into a stable society. A dictatorship scarcely deserves praise from anyone, let alone from poets.

I am in agreement with you, Lawrence, and I want to say more but it isn't printable on this site.

Meanwhile we have an incompetent petulant eight year old with his finger on the button on the deadliest weapon on Earth. Every day I tell myself that I must be living a nightmare, except everyday when I awaken I see that HE IS STILL THERE in spite of having committed every transgression known to man and woman.
