THE SAD LONLY PINE TREE!

The mighty pine tree
Stood tall - so tall
Looked back and
forewould
Looked all around
At what lay beneath
Looked at what was
What is
And what were to come
In great sades
The Great Pine died in despair
Toppled - crashed down to the former forest floor
The last of the pine trees kind!

I love trees. Trees have a wisdom about them, especially the old growth trees, tall and wide. They seem to see and know so much. There's a sadness about your poem. We all need to plant more and more trees. They do so much for us and our earth.
