The story of the rose in winter.

The story of the rose,
In winter.

Written by Louise Oaktree.

And in the distance,
I see the first snowflakes,
Of a cold winter morning.
I see a red rose,
Holding on to its leaves,
Holding on to the beauty,
That once was shared.
Freshly fallen snow,
Like a blanket,
Of pure white,
Dark red petals,
That fall,
One by one,
Like soft feet,
Making footsteps,
In the fresh snow.
So beautiful,
Is the red,
To the pure white,
That the soul,
Sings.
That the tears fall,
From eyes,
So red, as the petals,
That fall down.

Be blessed with love and light.
